Lee Anne is a sought after family therapist with 22 years of experience providing therapy for individuals and families. She is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and an AAMFT (American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists) Approved Supervisor.
Lee Anne works with individual adults and children from ages 3 -17. She also is a gifted family therapist who excels at solving problems with compassion, understanding and an abiding sense of fostering structural resolve in families that need it most. Lee Anne works from an attachment framework and specializes in treating mental health issues related to past physical and emotional trauma. In treatment, she demonstrates a helpful blend of compassion and direct feedback.
As a Clinical Member of the AAMFT and a board member for the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists, Lee Anne is actively involved in the development and practice of the family therapy field. She is a Clinical Supervisor and Adjunct Professor at the University of Oregon's Couples & Family Therapy Program who has instructed hundreds of psychotherapists in the application of best practice counseling techniques.
Lee Anne is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and received her Masters degree from Pacific Lutheran University. She is a frequent presenter at national conferences and an author of several published articles on domestic violence and children. She enjoys working in her garden, hiking with her dogs and reading. When asked what she's most proud of, Lee Anne states, "I have amazing children, who are creative, independent thinkers. I am also proud that I just celebrated 30 years of marriage with my best friend."
