About Beth

Beth is a graduate student at University of Oregon’s Couples & Family Therapy program. As a therapist intern, Beth gently guides clients to explore life questions, resolve conflicts, and experience growth. Her approach to therapy is client-centered and strengths-based, believing that clients are the experts of their own lives and have the resources within to create meaningful change.

Per her training, Beth works from a systems theoretical base, believing all behavior makes sense in context and that it is her job to understand her client’s environment, the systems that they operate within, and how they view the world in order to best support them on your journey towards wellbeing. In this way, Beth works collaboratively with clients to identify strengths and resources, and also the stressors that may hold clients back from achieving the happiness they seek. Beth values the mind-body connection, recognizing the complex interrelationship between the two and its influence on physical and mental health.
