About Jennifer

Click to schedule with Jen

Working with women from, adolescents to adults, Jen finds that sometimes our attempts at fixing our problems create a pattern that keeps us stuck. She works with her clients to learn how to step out of problematic patterns and create healthy movement and momentum. A warm, friendly presence, Jen values honesty and integrity. She is enthusiastic and strives to help clients understand how their behaviors make sense given their current life situations.

Jen also specializes in the treatment of eating disorders. She believes that her clients have the power to heal through relationships and to discover how each person's eating disorder helps them cope. According to Jen, people heal from an eating disorder by examining unmet needs and answering the question, "If it is not about the food, then what is it about?"

Many clients who see Jen come to admire her sense of humor, her direct approach to care and above all, her sense of respect for the therapeutic process and others. She believes that for lasting change to happen, the family must work together to help everyone shift.

When she's not working, Jen enjoys science fiction, crafting, vegetable gardening, baking and a good pun.
