About Katie

Katie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. She treats children, teens, and adults and is experienced working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relational and communication issues, life transitions, couples, families, and behavioral and emotional problems in children and teens. A graduate of the University of Oregon’s Couples and Family Therapy program, Katie is trained to see individuals within the context of their relationships and environment, and to identify patterns of behavior that are keeping clients stuck.

Katie’s approach to therapy is caring and non-judgmental. She values client’s expert knowledge of themselves and works collaboratively with clients to clarify and prioritize concerns and develop goals. Katie’s clients experience her as being genuine, understanding, and compassionate as she supports them in identifying the strengths and resources they possess that can help them to make desired changes in their lives. Katie is passionate about working with clients to explore and enrich the ways they give meaning to their lives and relationships while providing clients with skills to manage life’s challenges.

When Katie is not helping clients she can be found traveling, cooking, playing soccer, practicing yoga, reading, hiking, camping, snowboarding and spending time with loved ones.
