About Matt

Eugene and Corvallis Location

Dr. Orbell is a Licensed Psychologist who provides assessment and psychotherapy services at our Eugene and Corvallis locations. He earned his Ph.D. and his M.Ed. from the University of Georgia and has experience working with adolescents and adults, couples, and groups. The majority of Dr. Orbell's assessment training and experience has focused on ADHD and learning disorders. He also has notable experience working with young adults who identify with the LGBTQ population.

In therapy, Dr. Orbell's primary focus is on developing a strong, safe, and trusting relationship with his clients, while taking a collaborative approach to wrestling with, and working through, psychological difficulties. Dr. Orbell's belief that the therapeutic relationship is of primary importance comes not only from his training and experience, but also his continuing study of psychological attachment and attachment theory.

Dr. Orbell is currently available to schedule child, adolescent and adult ADHD assessments. Contact our office at 541-868-2004 to schedule a consultation with our intake team.
