Merry is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in treating adolescents and adults. Her approach to therapy is client-centered and interpersonal, and she believes the therapeutic relationship is critical for building trust and safety. Throughout therapy, Merry uses a strengths-based and trauma-informed lens. She honors the courage it takes to make change, and the personal resources clients bring into the room that have helped them come to where they are. She also believes in the power of human resilience, and the potential for healing in the wake of pain, tragedy, or trauma. Therapy is an opportunity to explore and discover one’s strength. Merry helps you accomplish this through a therapeutic relationship that encourages growth in a nonjudgmental, supportive environment.

As a therapist, Merry is committed to creating a space for healing in which you can explore your life stories of both pain and joy, where you feel heard and validated, and where you can be empowered to make the changes you seek. During sessions, Merry draws from a range of therapeutic modalities in order to honor the uniqueness of every person and the individual needs which bring you to therapy. Her goal is that, through this process, you may grow to experience your self and your relationships in a more authentic and meaningful way.

In her personal time, Merry enjoys hiking, singing, making art, and cozying up with a good book and her cat Susie.
