About Josh

Josh is a second-year graduate student in the Couple’s and Family Therapy Master’s program at the University of Oregon. He is excited to be a part of Eugene Therapy, working with individuals, couples and families in the community.

Josh views therapy as a unique opportunity to learn more about ourselves and the changes that we want to create in our lives. His approach is grounded in being curious, supportive, strength-based, and understanding your contextual environment. Josh holds the belief that you are the expert of your own life, and that he is here to guide you and direct the session using a variety of techniques. Josh approaches counseling through a solution-focused and systemic lens and finds that humor plays a role in the therapeutic process. He holds the belief that all clients possess the resources and are capable of creating long-lasting change in their lives. Josh provides a warm, positive, and strength-based environment for his clients.

Outside of the therapy room Josh enjoys spending time with family, friends, making others laugh, weight lifting, exploring new food, traveling, and being outside.
