About Rachelle

Rachelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor who serves as a compassionate and dedicated advocate and guide for her clients. She celebrates diversity and uniqueness in her clients as she helps them find meaning and understanding in their life experiences as they uncover their innate wisdom, inspiration, and strengths to accomplish any therapeutic and life goals they may have.

Rachelle enjoys working with clients of all ages and has experience in working with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, addiction, eating disorders, grief and loss, career and life transitions, and talented and gifted clients. Additionally, Rachelle's previous education in exercise, nutrition, and natural medicine and her previous experience as an emt/paramedic, personal trainer, and wellness coach make her uniquely qualified to work with clients experiencing chronic or terminal illness or those interested in mind-body wellness. With her background in mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and contemplative practices, Rachelle also enjoys working with clients exploring spirituality.

Rachelle offers an experiential and creative approach to therapy: Somatic therapy which focuses on the mind-body connection and Ecotherapy which helps to explore and strengthen personal relationships with nature (or the environment), family, friends, co-workers, and the community. These powerful experiential practices help clients bring their goals from thought to voice to action and reinforce lasting change and growth.

Outside of her practice Rachelle enjoys reading, swimming, yoga, hiking, frisbee, and just about anything that has to do with nature or animals.
